Do not lean over the appli-
ance while lighting.

If ignition does NOT
occur in 5 seconds, turn
burner controls OFF, wait
5 minutes and repeat
lighting procedure.
If burner does not ignite with
open valve, gas will continue
to flow out of burner
and could accidentally/
inadvertently ignite with
risk of injury.

PROPANE BURNER OPERATION
For proper ignition and operation of the appliance follow the steps below.
S T E P 0 1
In order for the ignitor
button to work properly, ensure that
the battery is installed correctly.
S T E P 0 2
❶ Ensure that the control knob is
turned to OFF.
S T E P 0 3
Ensure that the LP
tank is properly connected to the
unit. Turn gas ON at the LP cylinder
by slowly turning the OPD hand-
wheel halfway.
S T E P 0 4
❷ Push and hold the ignitor button.
❸ Push and turn the control knob counter-clockwise to HIGH.
(Release the ignitor button when the burner lights.)
❹ Adjust the temperature to desired level.

To ignite the remaining burners: Starting with the burner closest to the igni-
tion needle, turn each burner knob in sequence to HIGH.
