EN – High Lift Pallet Truck
Do not overload your tools, the tool will work better and will work in a safe way if it works
under the operating margins (nominal specified values).
Keep your machine fit; repair or replace damaged components immediately. Keep the machine
accordingly to this manual.
Never overload the pallet truck. Stay within the rated capacity of the truck.
Do not allow loaded pallet truck to drop from one floor level to another. Even a drop of one‐
inch results in a "shock", which can bend or break components.
Always remove load before making repairs. Completely immobilize pallet truck before working
on components that might pinch fingers or hands if movement were allowed.
Never allow anyone to ride a pallet truck "scooter style". All heavy material handling equipment
should be operated with the utmost regard for the safety of oneself and others.
Never leave a loaded pallet truck unattended.
Always lower forks when trucking is completed.
Avoid abrasive or corrosive environments and/or materials that may tend to spill onto pallet
truck parts.
It is not allowed to carry the truck if the forks are lifted higher than 300 mm from the ground.
6.‐ OPERATION
The three‐position control lever (pos. 8 fig. 4) is operated as follows:
a. When trigger is at the bottom gear, the forks are ready for lifting. Shake the handle
and the fork will raise quickly.
b. When trigger is at the middle gear, the truck is ready for moving. Shake the handle,
and the forks wont neither rise or lower.
c. When trigger is at the top gear, the truck is ready for lowering. Meanwhile the truck
shall lower automatically.
6.1.‐ Particular case of the High lifting truck
When the control lever is at the bottom gear, the forks are ready for fast lifting. Shake
the handle and the fork will raise rapidly. When the control lever is at the middle gear,
the truck is ready for slow lifting. Shake the handle and the forks will raise slowly. The
control lever shall be positioned at this gear while the truck is moving.
The cylinder of the truck has a three‐step lifting structure, that is, when the truck must
lift a heavy load, at the second step, the truck must work at slow lifting, otherwise the
truck will get damaged.
When the cargo is to be removed from the forks, it must not be removed until the
cargo is lowered down no less than 200 mm from the ground. The control lever
meanwhile shall be positioned at slow lifting.
