MAINTENANCE
The container and outer shell of the power head need to
be cleaned frequently with clean water.
Removing and Cleaning the Filters
1.
Verify that the power cord is disconnected from the
outlet.
2. Remove the power head lid and position upside down.
3. Unlock and remove the filter screen from the lock-
clamps by turning counter-clockwise. See Figure 3A
and 3B.

4. Carefully remove the cartridge filter. See Figure 4.

5. Clean the cartridge filter by gently tapping or brushing
dirt off.
6. Carefully remove the pre-filter from the container and
clean the ash or dirt from the filter by gently tapping or
brushing the ash or dirt off.

IMPORTANT! CLEANING SHOULD NOT BE DONE
INDOORS. DISPOSE OF ASH AND DIRT IN A NON-
COMBUSTIBLE RECEPTACLE. FOR OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE,
A NEW FILTER IS RECOMMENDED.
Reinstalling Filter
1.
Install the cartridge filter so that it is flush with the
vacuum power head lid. Make sure that the cartridge
filter is pushed in until it stops against the power head.
See Figure 5.

2. Place filter screen over the cartridge filter and align the
lock tabs. Turn the filter screen clockwise to lock into
place, do not over tighten. See Figure 6A and 6B.
