SAR certification information
Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) is the unit of measurement for the amount absorbed radio
when using mobile devices. SAR tests are conducted in standard operating positions
with the phone transmitting at its highest certified power level, however, the actual SAR
level of the phone while operating can be well below the maximum value. In general, the
closer you are to a base station, the lower the power of the phone.
SAR values may vary, depending on the different models of phones. To ensure the safety
and health of users, the phone is designed and manufactured to meet radio exposure
guidelines. The SAR limit recommended by the Council of the European Union for mobile
devices used by the general public is 2 W/kg and the highest SAR value for this device is
below the SAR recommended limit.
