TO USE AS A CAN OPENER
Positioning the can: Lift up the cutting handle. Place the can so that the edge fits over the cog wheel.
N.B.: Make sure that the cutting wheel is always clean, so that the can opener works efficiently.
OPENING THE CAN
Place the appliance on a level surface. Push the cutting handle down until the cutting wheel pierces the
lid. The appliance switches on automatically. When opening is complete, the appliance switches off
automatically by releasing the cutting handle. The magnet holds on to the loose lid. Cans supplied with a
ring or a key for opening can be opened with this appliance on their underside.
TO USE AS A BOTTLE OPENER
To open a bottle, hold the appliance and position the cap under the metal hook part in the bottle opener.
Be sure the metal hook part is not under the bottle neck, or the glass may break. Hold the can opener with
one hand and pull down to pop the cap off with the other hand
TO USE AS A KNIFE SHARPENER
Unplug the power supply, and then place the knife which is intended to be sharpened in the slot of knife
sharpener at the back of the unit. For best results, sharpen the entire length carefully pulling the knife
through the slot back and forth, until you achieve desired sharpness. After sharpening, wash and dry the
knife.
NOTE: Do not attempt to sharpen serrated blades, as this will smooth their edges. Do not attempt to
sharpen scissors.
CLEANING
DO NOT IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID. UNPLUG BEFORE
CLEANING.
The appliance can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth.

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE
BROWN
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the
colour markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter L or coloured red.
