Using the Optional Arm Support Strap
1. Before turning on the RecoveryAir PRO pump power button, fasten the strap to the torso.
2. Then, extend the strap to its full length by pulling up on the buckle (see Figure 2) and fasten the strap to the arm sleeve.
3. Hold your arm in a comfortable position, but not bent, to allow the garment to fill with air and then operate the pump for one inflation cycle.
4. When the pump deflates, bend your arm into the desired position.
5. Adjust the strap to the desired tension by pulling on it with your free hand.
Operating the RecoveryAir PRO Pump
Select a pressure of up to 50 mmHg for use with RecoveryAir PRO Compression Half Jacket.
Note: Filling the garment may take longer on the first inflation. The garment should not fit too tightly. You should be able to insert three fingers into the garment when
it is fully closed before inflation.
Caution
• Do not stand or walk while wearing the garment. Put on the garment while in a seated
position and remove it before rising from the treatment position.
• Do not use the RecoveryAir PRO Compression Half Jacket at pressures over 50 mmHg.
Using the RecoveryAir PRO Compression Half Jacket at pressure above 50 mmHg may
cause discomfort and may reduce the effect of treatment.
• Do not inflate the RecoveryAir PRO Compression Half Jacket without wearing it over the
intended body area ("on empty") or with open zippers. Doing so can damage the garment.
• Do not apply excessive force to the RecoveryAir PRO Compression Half Jacket straps. Do
not use the straps for any purpose other than intended by Therabody. Use of excessive force
and/or misuse shall void the warranty.
• Stop treatment and consult your licensed medical practitioner if you experience the onset of
pain, bruising or irritation during or after treatment.
• Do not use the RecoveryAir PRO Compression Half Jacket if you are pregnant.
