General information
Read the following operating instructions carefully and follow the safety instructions and warnings. The SISSEL
SECUREMAX
®
Ball is an air-filled seat for promoting a correct sitting posture and for versatile use in balance
and coordination training, fitness training and for performing more varied gymnastics. As a medical device, it
is also supplied for therapeutic purposes to medical circles or professional users. Professional users are persons
who, due to their medical or comparable training, have sufficient knowledge regarding the diseases to be
treated with the system or how to avoid them. The therapeutic use of the SECUREMAX
rapy or rehabilitation treatment, should preferably be carried out by or under the guidance of professional
users. Autonomous training by non-professional users and medical laypersons is possible under consideration
of the instructions for use. However, initial instruction by appropriately trained professionals is recommended.
The product and accessories may only be used in accordance with these operating instructions or as instructed
by appropriately trained specialists. SISSEL
applications described in these instructions for use. The user manual must be kept carefully and within easy
reach and must be enclosed if the product is passed on. The regulatory requirements applicable to this product
in the respective country of use must be taken into account.
Safety instructions
! Check the condition of the product before each use. If damaged, the function of the product
and safety is no longer guaranteed.
! Do not use the product in the immediate area of heat sources (e.g. radiator, hotplate, open flame,
flying sparks) and avoid direct sunlight.
! Keep the area of use free of sharp or pointy objects.
! Train only on dry, non-slip and straight surfaces and not near stairways, balustrades, edges, etc.
! Choose an exercise program that fits your physical strength and fitness level and avoid overly difficult
exercises or experiments with increased risk. Do NOT stand on the ball.
! Use only accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
! Use by children, adolescents and during pregnancy as well as in case of existing health conditions
or cognitive impairment only under supervision and after medical consultation.
! The SECUREMAX
®
ball must only be filled with air. A commercially available hand or ball pump is
recommended for filling the SECUREMAX
! Do not over-inflate the ball. An over-inflated ball can burst during use and cause injury.
! Only inflate the ball as described in the instructions for use. Improper inflation can cause damage to the ball
and cause injuries.
! The product and its accessories are no toys and should be kept out of the reach of children.
Do not allow children to play with it. Risk of strangulation and suffocation.
