Problems/Causes /Solutions
Reflector every on with
the controller off.
Product Considerations and Installation
* The remote control is resistant to splashes and possible drops inside the swimming pool without generating any
equipment damage. However, it is not recommended to submerge it in water.
* The remote control should not be left exposed to the sun.
* Don't use sharp objects to select functions on the remote control, because no matter how small the damage is,
water could enter the control damaging it.
* If it is necessary to change the battery, open carefully, replace the battery with an equal or equivalent type. At
the time of closing, care must be taken that it is properly positioned in order to prevent water from entering the
remote control.
* The equipment's input power can be CONTINUOUS CURRENT from a power supply, complying with the informa-
tion below:
* 12VDC Power Supply - 60 Watts - 05 Amperes - The Power Supply is sold separately or included in the Basic
Piccolo.
* 12VDC power supply connections must be compliant to 127VAC or 220VAC network voltage to certify available
voltage respecting the power supply input.
* The Controller should be installed in a room free from moisture and splashing water.
* To get the maximum range of the remote control, try not to install the controller inside frames or near metal
parts. It is also recommended to move away from beams and columns. Large metal objects interfere with signal
reception, greatly impairing the control range.
* Installation and maintenance must be carried out by specialized technicians. Never install or service the equip-
ment or parts connected to it without first turning off the mains, under risk of electric shock.
* The electrical installation must follow local electrical regulations.
* The size of the cables must be dimensioned according to the load to be connected to the equipment, taking care
not exceed the maximum power supplied by the equipment.
Disconnect the cables from the reflectors. Invert the color channel cable that is lit with a
color channel that is unlit. Example: If the red channel is lit even with the controller turned
off, invert the red wire with the green one, if green lights up and red goes out, the controller
output is damaged. Refer the controller to technical assistance. If the red reflector is still on,
there may be a connection error or short circuit in the connections of the reflector cables.
