6. Initial use
Within the scope of supply you will find a USB cable. Please fully charge the basal thermometer be-
fore first use. To do so please open the USB port on the device and connect the thermometer as de-
scribed in chapter 4. Once the battery is fully charged FULL will appear on the display of the device.
Connecting the thermometer with a smartphone
Connect the thermometer to the Ovy App to start using the device. Download the Ovy App
from the App Stores. In this manner, you can keep track of your entire cycle through your
smartphone.
Before initial use, you have to connect the thermometer with the Ovy App in order to
synchronize the time. You can find further information about the Ovy App in chapter 13.
Proceed as follows:
1. Download the Ovy App from the Apple App Store (iOS) or from Google Play (Android
2. Activate Bluetooth
3. Open the Ovy App on your smartphone and follow instructions in the Ovy App.
4. Press the on-/off-button on the thermometer in order to switch it on.
