IMPORTANT! Please note that loosening the QR Mounting Brackets (A)
will simultaneously adjust the Width and Height of the MX2 back.
Please read through a a ll instructions prior to beginning the installation.
During installation it is recommended to make adjustments to one mounting
bracket at a time.

P L E A S E N O T E
Each Quick-Release Mounting Bracket (A) comes with the mounting pins (B)
pre-installed, and is designed with width adjustable slots that allow the MX2
Back to be installed onto back canes that are up to 1" (25mm) wider or 1"
(25mm) narrower than than the nominal back width.
1 Before installing the Invacare
i. Working on one side only, slightly loosen the mounting bracket
washer plate and hardware (C) so that the QR mounting bracket (A) and
mounting pins (B) can be adjusted inward or outward (1) (as necessary)
to align with the cane clamp mounting plates- see Step 2. (Fig. 6a/6b)
ii. Leave the remaining (opposite) QR Mounting Bracket Assembly
secured to the MX2 back shell (2).
