5.1.2 PROGRAMMING OPTIONS IN PROBE MODE
If, at point 13, you selected the PROBE MODE, the following parameters of the PROGRAMMING section will be
the ones shown in this paragraph.

15 set point 3,5

DESCRIPTION
CHANGING THE SET POINT
Once the previous parameter has been confirmed, you will access this
one.
Here you can change the conductivity SET POINT, that defines the
desired detergent concentration that you want to reach in the tank of
the machine. The DETERGENT PUMP of the device will continue to
dose detergent into the machine until the conductivity of the liquid in
the tank reaches this desired value, provided that a signal is present
on the WASH input of the device.
You can use your titration kit to measure the conductivity in the Wash
Tank when you are sure that the concentration of detergent is the
desired one. Then you can program the SET POINT of the unit to this
value, in order to reach that concentration at each washing cycle.
It's possible to program the SET POINT in the range from 0,2 mS to
5,0 mS. The right and the left buttons adjust the shown value; Holding
down the left or right buttons will rapidly change the Set Point value.
Use then the central button to confirm the choice.
Default value is 1,0 mS
Note 1: When working in PROBE mode the default screen of the
device (see point 2) shows, at the same time, the SET POINT to reach
and the current value present in the tank.
E.G. the screen shows: "SP:3,5mS C:2,1mS" means that the SET
POINT is 3,5mS, but at the moment the concentration of detergent in
the tank is only 2,1mS and, therefore, the DETERGENT PUMP will
continue to dose...
Note 2: As said before, to avoid wastage of chemicals, the
DETERGENT PUMP only doses when a signal is present on the
WASH input of the device (S3). Usually a signal coming from the
WASH PUMP of the machine is connected to the S3 input to allow the
dosage of the detergent only when the machine is washing. If you
want to avoid this control and you want to maintain the desired
concentration of chemicals in the wash tank at any moment, no matter
what the wash machine is doing, re-wire the power supply of the
device (constant 100-240 VAC) to the S3 input. The DETERGENT
PUMP will now always dose when the concentration in the wash tank
is below the SET POINT.
Note 3: Please be aware that value of conductivity shown on the
display is accurate only if a PROBE CALIBRATION (see point 14)
has been performed and only if the temperature in the tank is close to
temperature present in the tank at the time of calibration. Otherwise,
the conductivity value shown will only be useful as an indication. The
system is able to maintain the desired detergent concentration with or
without calibration.
