8. Remove the two smaller sized Torx locating bolts and place a supplied plastic spacer between the stainless and OE Chrome
Cover. Install and tighten.
9. Re-connect wiring and place assembly back onto the hood cut out. Ensure the stainless is seated properly within the recess
(paying special attention to the front area) and secure assembly in place.
10. Use the supplied M6 fasteners in place of the Torx bolts removed in step #1 while the original Torx fasteners are used on the
inside of the hood. At the point of installing the Torx fasteners, supplied plastic spacers are needed to go between the
stainless and the OE chrome cover. Careful to not over tighten M6 fasteners as this will prevent denting of the stainless
11. Ensure the stainless intake screen is still seated within the recess and tighten M6 and Torx fasteners.
12. Peel plastic from around the hole locations at the front of stainless intake and install 1/2" long #8 screws. Careful to not
overtighten to prevent denting.
13. Peel remaining protective plastic and wipe intake screen with a soft cloth and glass cleaner if necessary.
