Device-specific additional instructions for nailer
4
Adjusting the tool for the staple length and depth adjustment
The tool needs to be adjusted to accommodate the correct
•
staple leg length. For 18mm long staples screw 1 has to be in
the position as shown in the picture (S on the top). For 22mm
long staples screw 1 has to be turned by 180°. Prior to turning
the adjustment screw 1, the headless screw (2) needs to be
loosened and then retightened after adjustment of screw 1.
To adjust the depth of drive: loosen screw 3 and slide the
•
body 2 up or down. By moving body 2 deeper towards the
magazine 4 the driving depth is increased. After adjustment
tighten screw 3 again
5
Adjustment tightness of clinch
The tightness of clinch of the staple is adjustable by turning
•
disc 1. To turn disc 1 insert an allen key (SW 2.5) into one
radial hole of the disc 1. Turning disc 1 into direction L (marked
on tool) results in less clinched staples. Turning disc 1 into
direction T leads to more clinched staples (see picture below).
6
Loading the magazine
Ensure that nailer and fasteners are compatible (Chap. 1) with
•
each other.
Check fasteners for proper condition.
•
Pull feeder 1 to the back and flip downwards. Fill Staples 2
•
from the back into the magazine. Then turn feeder 1 to the top
and push to the forwards.
