Place the heater on a firm level surface free from obstructions, and at least
3ft. (0.9m) away from any wall and any other objects such as furniture,
curtains, plants or combustible material.
Plug the unit into a grounded 120V outlet.
SETTING THE POWER
When you first press on the power key
(HI) and temperature setting at 85°F. Press this key repeatedly to select desired
operating modes in a circular sequence HI-LO-STANDBY.
LO: The Fan and heating elements operate at 900W.
HI: The Fan and heating elements operate at 1500W.
SETTING THE TEMPERATURE
When the heater is working, press the UP key ( ) and DOWN key ( ) to set the
desired temperature between 65°F to 85°F in increments of 5°F. The unit will
select the operating mode based on the following 2 conditions:
a. If the set temperature is higher than the room temperature, the heater
will continue to heat until the room temperature reaches the set temperature.
Once the room temperature reaches the set temperature, the heating element
will stop heating and the temperature setting LED lamp will keep flashing.
The heater will resume heating when the room temperature falls below the
set temperature. The heater will switch on and off in order to maintain the set
temperature.
b. If the set temperature is lower than or equal to the room temperature,
the temperature setting lamp will flash, and the unit will stop heating. When
the room temperature falls to below the set temperature, the unit will resume
heating. The heater will switch on and off in order to maintain the set
temperature.
"Max" mode: When the "max" mode is selected, the temperature setting
function will be disabled, and the heater will continuously heat at the selected
power setting.
Note: Every time the heater is switched on, it will heat at high temperature
setting for 2 minutes. After that, the heater will operate according to the
instructions above. When the heating elements are shut off, the fan motor will
continue to run for about 15 seconds before shutting off. This is a safety feature
that is designed to protect the unit from overheating.
SETTING THE TIMER
When the heater is on, it can be set to turn off automatically in 1 to 15 hours in
hourly increments.
a. There are four timer settings on the panel represented by the numbered
LED lamps 1 - 2 - 4 - 8. By pressing the timer setting key
four LED lamps are on, the heater can be set to turn off in 15 hours maximum
(1+2+4+8=15 hours). The LED lamps combination will change to indicate the
remaining time before heater turns off.
