ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHAIN HOISTS
• Always remember the maximum lifting capacity. Do not overload the device.
• The maximum lifting capacity is indicated on the device.
• When mounting the machine, carefully check the stability of the mounting system.
• Only use accessories designed to withstand at least the maximum load of the
device.
• Only use the machine for lifting objects. Never use the machine to lift people.
• Do not use the tool if the brake is not working properly or not at all.
• Do not allow anyone to go below the lifting point during operation.
• Do not allow anyone to stand under a raised load.
• Inappropriate use can cause jamming hazard from mobile element.
• The machine must be used in ambient operating temperature between -10°C and
+50°C;
• Do not use the equipment in a specific environment (explosive, corrosive, etc.);
• If necessary, the user should have training with a professional before use.
• Adjust the bottom of the hand chain between 500 mm and 1 000 mm from the
ground.
• Check for any defects occurring during use.
• Test and check the equipment prior to commissioning, after repair or reassembly or
prolonged stoppage and during the period of use of the equipment.

Your chain hoist has been designed for hoisting goods.

Mounting the appliance (fig. A)
The appliance must be mounted to a suspension
point that has sufficient load capacity and stability.
Use the upper hook (3) to attach the appliance to
a suspension point.

Use the lower hook (5) to attach the load to the appliance.

Instructions for use
Check whether the appliance has been mounted correctly.
Make sure that the load is well attached to the hook and that it is not out of balance
more than 15‰. Make sure to stand in a straight line with the drive wheel during the
operation.
Constantly keep an eye on the load during the operation.
Move the hoist with equal force, to avoid jerking and jamming of the chain.
Make sure that the chain does not slope compared to the drive wheel, to avoid the
chain from jamming and the appliance from turning around.
