construction.
o)
Keep the device away from sources of fire and heat.
p)
Do not overload the device.
q)
Do not cover the ventilation openings!
r)
A flammable, explosive or corrosive test sample may
damage or shorten the life of the device. Any damage
caused by the above-mentioned type test samples are
not covered by the warranty.
s)
The maximum rotor speed must not be exceeded.
t)
The condition of the rotor should be frequently
checked (for cracks, corrosion, damaged seals,
scratches, etc.). Do not use the device if the rotor is
not in good technical condition.
u)
You must never open the device cover while it is
working! The lid can be opened with the device
switched off and the rotor at a standstill.
v)
Uneven alignment or use of damaged test tubes can
cause severe vibrations and damage the device.
ATTENTION! Despite the safe design of the device
and its protective features, and despite the use of
additional elements protecting the operator, there is
still a slight risk of accident or injury when using the
device. Stay alert and use common sense when using
the device.

PREPARING FOR USE
APPLIANCE LOCATION
The ambient temperature must not exceed 45°C and the
relative humidity should not exceed 85%. Only use the
device in well-ventilated areas. Do not obstruct the air outlet
of the device. Keep the device away from any hot surfaces.
The device should always be used when positioned on an
even, stable, clean, fireproof and dry surface, and be out of
the reach of children and persons with limited mental and
sensory functions. The valve that disables the compressed
air supply should be immediately accessible from the
area where the device is being used. Make sure that the
pressure of the air supplying the device does not exceed the
recommended range!
ASSEMBLING THE DEVICE
Place the device on a flat, stable surface so that all four
rubber feet are firmly set on the surface.
Connect the power cord to the device and its other end to
a 230VAC socket. Please note: The power socket must be
grounded. This will reduce the risk of electric shock.
Device use
1.
Check that the nut on the rotor has not loosened, if so,
tighten it.
2.
Get the test tubes with a preparation ready for
centrifugation and place them in the device so that
they meet the following premises:
•
the test tube should be filled to a maximum of 75% of
its total volume,
•
place the test tubes symmetrically in the rotor.
•
The sample-filled tubes placed opposite each other
must be of equal weight.
•
Always verify the condition of the test tube used.
Do not insert cracked or deformed test tubes in the
device!
3.
Close the device lid.
4.
Switch the device connected to the power supply on,
using the ON/OFF button at the back of the device.
5.
Set the device parameters.
•
Speed setting
Press and hold the (4) button on the control panel
until „A1 ※ 3100" flashes on the display. Then, use the
„Up" (5)/"Down" (6) buttons to set the preferred speed
value. The maximum speed must not be exceeded.
Please note: If the density of the sample intended for
centrifugation exceeds 1.2 g/ml, the maximum speed value
should be recalculated acc. to the formula below:
N=n√(1.2c ∕ S)
Where,
N - new maximum rotation speed
n- original maximum rotation speed
S- density of the tested sample
•
Time setting
Press and hold the (4) button on the control panel
until „04:39" flashes on the display. Then, use the „Up"
(5)/"Down" (6) buttons to set the preferred time value
for the device operation.
•
Acceleration and deceleration values setting
Press and hold the (4) button on the control panel
until „2" flashes on the display. Then use the „Up"
(5)/"Down" (6) buttons to set the preferred value.
Please note: The device is factory set to „b5". There is
no need for the user to set this parameter themselves.
