DESCRIPTION
CORE is a multifunctional thermal imaging device designed for use at night
during the daytime in adverse weather conditions (fog, smog, rain), as well as
in the presence of obstacles that might hamper the detection of targets
(branches, tall grass, thick bushes etc.). The monocular allows the user to
observe objects at distances of above 1000 metres. Unlike the image
intensifier tube-based night vision devices, CORE thermal imagers do not
require an external light source, nor are they affected by exposure to daylight.
Areas of application of CORE devices include observation and orientation in
low visibility conditions, hunting, search and rescue.
