Installation and repair of the device may only be carried out by
properly qualified professionals. Before staring work, read the
installation instructions thoroughly and follow them carefully!
Scope of delivery
- 1 Sealing frame
- 2 Cellular rubber sheets, 4 mm
Installation
When the device is installed with a sealing frame in vehicles,
the cut-out must be 400 x 400 mm.
The sealing frame seals an area of 460 x 460 mm.
- Remove the existing skylight (increase the size of the
cut-out if necessary).
- Remove seal residue and unevenness.
- Fill recesses / holes with body sealant.
- Apply non-hardening, removable sealant (such as
Terostat 2759 with a maximum thickness of 1 cm) in
the surrounding groove on the underside of the sealing
frame and insert the sealing frame into the cut-out
(arrow points in direction of travel).
Preparation for mains cable connection
Provide leadthrough for mains cable to connecting point e.g.
in the false ceiling (drill hole through sealing frame for mains
cable if necessary).
Sealing profile and cellular rubber sheets
Remove sealing profile from device.
Glue the two enclosed 4 mm cellular rubber sheets to the two
existing cellular rubber sheets.
De-grease the adhesion surfaces before gluing on the
cellular rubber sheets!
Transport device to roof in a horizontal position.
If the unit has been turned over or was not horizontal at
all times, you must wait 2 hours before switching it on.
