VIII. TROUBLESHOOTING
If installation has been carried out correctly and the electrical accessories are operating normally, it is unlikely that any
technical problems will arise. If they should, consult an installer specialised in electrical appliances or contact the aquarium
product dealer to make a careful check or to replace the aquarium.
FAULTS
The cover does not remain
properly closed.
The lighting system or the
timer are not in operation
The water temperature
does not reach the set
levels
Limited or no water flow
CAUSES
The cover does not remain properly closed.
The perimeter of the support is not
horizontal.
The lighting system is not connected to the
electrical socket
Check the connector
An error in the timer setting
A temporary black out
The lighting system is not operating
correctly
The heater is not connected to the
electrical socket
Failure of the power supply unit
The heater is set to a temperature that is
too low
The pump is clogged due to dirt or wear
and tear on the rotor

The Mechanichem filter cartridge is
clogged
The pump is clogged due to dirt or wear
and tear on the rotor
The pump is not operating correctly
SOLUTIONS
Apply specific pads on a movable part or along
the perimeter of the support, making it finally
completely horizontal (Fig. 33).
Contact your local dealer
Connect the plug to the electrical socket
Connect the cable connector to the
transformer connector
Reset the timer (see Chapter V, step l)
Reprogramme the timer (see chapter V.L) for
blackouts lasting longer than 40 minutes.

Connect the plug to the electrical socket
Replace it with the original power supply unit
or address your regional dealer.
Adjust the temperature to the correct value
