INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BATTERY TESTS AND ERROR INDICATORS
In case of faults, the battery tester will display the following indications:

The clamps of the output leads
are not connected correctly to the battery.
Inversione di polarità.
Battery voltage too low. (You are attempting
to charge a 12V battery with a battery charger
set to 24V).
Battery voltage too high. (You are attempting
to charge a 24V battery with a battery charger
set to 12V).
The battery could be defective.
After a certain period of time has elapsed, the
battery cannot absorb power.
Battery unrecoverable after a complete desul-
furization cycle.
Power absorbed in Supply function too high.
Leads disconnected, leads shortcircuited.
Battery completely short-circuited.
SAFETY DEVICES
The battery chargers are equipped with safety devices to ensure the utmost safety during use and operation.
− Full protection against sparks
− Protection against short-circuits
− Voltage compensation
− Protection against overheating
− Protection against polarity reversal
After use, replace the battery charger in a dry, humidity-free area. To clean the outer casing, use a dry cloth.

CAUSE
SOLUTION
Position the clamps correctly and start charging
the battery again (see section "Operating
Battery Charger").
Check the battery voltage.
The battery could be defective. Contact your
nearest battery service centre.

Reduce power absorption.
