Assemble the Wheel
NOTE: Refer to Figure 2 when following the steps below
1. Place the unit on a level surface.
2. Steel spacer and locknuts are already assembled to each
end of axle.
3. Remove nut, install wheel, reinstall nut and tighten
securely. Repeat on opposite side.
4. Install hub cap by pressing firmly in the center until the cap
snaps into place.
Assemble the Flexible Shield
NOTE: Refer to Figure 4 when following the steps below
1. Align rear hole of flexible shield with threaded stud at the
base of the deflector shroud.
2. Assemble with flange nut.
WARNING
Do not operate trimmer unless all shields are fully installed.
Assemble Fuel Cap
1. Remove label from top of fuel tank filler neck.
2. Install cap by screwing onto tank.
