Prior to installation and use of this equipment, record the product identification information from the ID label in the

Inspection and Maintenance Log (Table 2) at the back of this manual.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Figure 1 illustrates the 3M™ Rebel Retrieval SRD-R, Tripod Mounting Base and Bracket. The Rebel Retrieval Mounting Bracket

is designed to be installed on the Protecta AK105A / AM100 Tripod. The Bracket is used to mount a Rebel Retrieval SRD-R. The

Protecta Tripod and Rebel Retrieval SRL-R are purchased separately. The product may be used for personal fall arrest, rescue,

and retrieval.

Figure 2 illustrates the components of the Tripod Mounting Base and Bracket specified in Table 1. The

Tripod Mounting Base and Bracket is comprised of a welded Mounting Base(A) and 2 Clamping Plates(B) that fit together and

are secured to the Mounting Base with hardware(F). A Mounting Bracket(E) attaches to the Mounting Base and is secured with a

Detent Pin(C) and a Retaining Chain(D).

For use with the Protecta AK105A / AM100 Tripod.

System Capacity

1 person with a combined weight of user, clothes, and tools of no more than 310 lb(140 kg)

This bracket is compliant with EN 1496:2006 - Class B when used with Rebel SRD-R 3591002 or 3591003.
