Some operations (which restrict the air flow) can cause the meter to indicate a high value even with a clean filter. The machine
must never be run continuously when the meter shows red, as this poses a risk of overheating. The transition from green to red
area takes place at 1.5 kPa.
Service/Maintenance
Cleaning
The machine must be switched off and unplugged before cleaning and maintenance.
The following precautions should generally be observed before maintenance work:
1. To avoid dust dispersion, the machine must be vacuumed and wiped clean before it is removed from the contaminated area
and the suction openings must be sealed with sealing devices such as plugs.
2. All machines must be considered as contaminated if they are moved from the dangerous zone. Appropriate measures must be
taken to prevent the spread of dust.
3. At maintenance or repairs, all contaminated items that have not been cleaned satisfactorily must be disposed of. These items
shall be disposed of in dust-proof bags according to the provisions applicable to the disposal of waste.
4. Clean the machine before disassembly.
5. Select a room with filtered fan ventilation.
6. Clean the maintenance area in advance.
7. Use appropriate personal protective equipment.
8. The cyclone filter cartridge must be replaced when necessary, but at least once a year. Only use original filters.
9. Service must never be performed in the zone area.
10. Since the machine is used in an explosive environment, its functionality must be inspected by the manufacturer or trained
personnel at least once a year (inspection of, for example, damage to the filter, air tightness of the dust extractor, the operation of
the control unit, damage to electrical components, seals and potential equalization cables). Only use genuine parts.
Filter replacement
The fine filter must be replaced at least once a year. Only OEM filters may be used. HEPA filters must be replaced after 300
hours.
