16. Guarantee.
• Contact™ is covered by a 1 year guarantee from date of purchase.
• The date of purchase should be stamped on the Written Guarantee and for
verification be accompanied by the sales slip.
• The Written Guarantee should be filled in and signed by the dealer where purchased.
• The guarantee covers repairs and service required due to defects in material and
workmanship.
• Repairs or service covered by the guarantee should only be performed by Telemetry
Solutions Inc. A copy of the Written Guarantee should accompany your equipment
when shipping. The owner is responsible for paying postage and handling costs when
shipping equipment to Telemetry Solutions Inc.
• The guarantee will become void prior to the 1 year period if your faulty equipment is
repaired or serviced by someone other than Telemetry Solutions Inc.
• REPERTO is not responsible for other damage or costs arising due to faults in the
dog tracker equipment. Under no circumstances will economic losses for a business
be covered.
• The guarantee does not cover repairs or service to the equipment arising due to
normal wear or incorrect use.
• The guarantee does not cover replacement of batteries.
17. Quick guide.

When the transmitter isn't being used it should be stored
where it will remain still so that the power is shut off
completely.
1. Press down (ON/OFF) for a few seconds.
2. Check that the channel programmed into the receiver
memory matches the channel on the transmitter being used.
1. Shake the transmitter vigorously for a few seconds.
2. Aim the receiver at the transmitter's IR-sensor.
3. Press down on the 'IR button' (the dog symbol).
• Approximately 25 inches between receiver and
transmitter.
• If the transmitter lies still for more than 10 seconds,
then it cannot be turned on or off prior to being put in
motion again.
• In strong sunlight: hold transmitter and receiver in
the shade when turning on and off.
Method 1: Using Peak Detector when tracking.
This method is recommended when the
transmitter is located at close to normal
distances from the receiver.
