DANGER: To avoid personal injury keep hands
and feet away from jack and workpiece during
operation.
WARNING: Always secure your vehicle with wheel
chocks.
WARNING: Do not move or dolly the load while
on the jack.
WARNING: Do not open oil filler plug for any reason
unless jack is fully lowered.
WARNING: Do not exceed equipment ratings. Never
attempt to lift a load weighing more than
the capacity of the jack. Overloading causes
equipment failure and possible personal injury.
CAUTION: Keep hydraulic equipment away from
flames and heat. Excessive heat will soften packings
and seals, resulting in fluid leaks. Heat also weakens
hose materials and packings. For optimum performance do
not expose equipment to temperatures of 65°C [150°F] or
higher. Protect hoses and jacks from weld spatter.
WARNING: BE SURE SETUP IS STABLE BEFORE
LIFTING LOAD. Jacks should be placed on a
flat surface that can support the load.
Avoid situations where loads are not directly centered
on the jack plunger. Off-center loads produce
considerable strain on jack and plungers. In addition,
the load may slip or fall, causing potentially dangerous results.
Distribute the load evenly across the entire saddle
surface. Always use a saddle to protect the plunger.
IMPORTANT: Hydraulic equipment must only be
serviced by a qualified hydraulic technician. For repair
service, contact the Authorized ENERPAC Automotive
Service Center in your area. To protect your warranty, use only
ENERPAC oil.
WARNING: Immediately replace worn or damaged
parts by genuine ENERPAC Automotive parts.
Standard grade parts will break causing personal
injury and property damage. ENERPAC Automotive parts are
designed to fit properly and withstand high loads.
WARNING: Off-center loads and loads lifted while jack
is not level may damage the jack or cause personal
injury.
WARNING: It is your responsibility to keep warninng
decals legible and intact. Replacement decals may be
obtained from the factory.

Telescopic Bottle Jack Components
1. Saddle
2. 2-stage Piston
3. Oil Filler Plug
1. To prevent hydraulic fluid loss during shipment, the oil
filler plug is closed at the factory.
2. Occasionally, hydraulic jacks become airbound during
shipment and will not function properly. To correct this
condition:
a. Insert handle onto release valve and turn counter-
clockwise. Do not open release valve more than three
turns.
b. Place handle in handle socket and pump handle 6-8
full strokes to purge air from the hydraulic system.
Repeat as required.
3. Thoroughly lubricate all moving parts of the jack.
a. Raise the saddle to full height by closing release
valve and pumping handle.
b. Lubricate the surface of the ram as well as all moving
parts in the handle and lifting mechanism.
4.0 OPERATION
4.1 Lifting
1. Secure vehicle by blocking wheels with wheel chocks.
2. Close release valve by turning handle knob clockwise
until it is firmly closed.
3. Position jack under load and turn extension screw until
solid contact can be made with the load to be lifted, or
operate jack handle until saddle contacts load.
4. Raise the load to desired height and then transfer the
load to jack stands or some other object that will
adequately support the load.
