Parameter setting instructions
Setting and parameterization
Use the [MODE] or [SET] touchpads to navigate through the main menu (fig. 5), as well as the
OUT1 and OUT2 submenus (fig. 6), the EF extended functions menu (fig. 7) or the DISP display
menu (fig. 8). Press [ENTER] to select the respective submenu. Touching [MODE] and [SET]
at the same time will cancel the parameter assignment. The device returns to the standard
display.
NOTE
For parameterization in legacy mode, refer to the instructions for use document numbered
100003050.
Locking the device
Touch and hold [MODE] and [SET] simultaneously for 3 s.

While the LOC LED is flashing, Loc appears on the display and then disappears.

The LOC LED lights up yellow.
If the sensor touchpads are not actuated for 1 min, the sensor is locked automatically.
Unlocking the device
Touch and hold [ENTER] for 3 s until all of the bars flash green.

Swipe [MODE], [ENTER], [SET] in succession: Two red flashing bars appear when each touch-
f
pad is touched. Swipe the nearest touchpad once the two red bars turn green.
f
Release the touchpads when six green bars are flashing on the display.
The LOC LED goes out.

uLoc appears in the display and then disappears.

Setting parameter values via the touchpads
If the LOC LED lights up and a red running light is shown on the display when [MODE] or

[SET] is touched, unlock the device.
Touch [MODE] or [SET] until the required parameter is displayed.

Touch [ENTER] to select parameters (fig. 5).

Changing the displayed value: Touch and hold [SET] for 3 s until the display stops flashing.

Or: Touch [MODE] to return to the parameter selection.
Increase or decrease the value gradually via [MODE] or [SET]. Certain values can be continu-
f
ously changed by touching and holding [MODE] or [SET] (fig. 5).
Touch [ENTER] to save the modified value. The saved value flashes twice.

Protecting the device with a password
Select PASS in the EF menu.

Change values via [SET].
f
Use the [MODE] touchpad to navigate between the digits of the four-digit password (fig. 9).

Touch [ENTER] to save the new password.
