Press the sandpaper onto the surface of the
sanding pad with fasteners and check it is
secure.
Connect the tool to mains electricity and
switch it on at the on/off switch (3).
Allow the tool to reach full speed.
Apply the sanding pad to the item. Give the
tool time to work. It is rarely necessary to
press the pad hard against the surface to be
worked.
The triangular shape of the sandpaper makes
it easier to get the sanding pad into corners.
If the tip of the sandpaper becomes worn,
you can remove the sandpaper from the
sanding pad, turn it 120° and replace it.
As a joint cutter
The special shape of the saw blade means
that you can saw very close to edges, which
is not possible with an ordinary saw. The saw
blade does not rotate; it oscillates. You can
saw wood, plaster and soft plastic materials.
Do not try to saw metal or stone, and make
sure that there are no foreign objects, such as
nails. Plug the tool in and switch it on using
the on/off button (3).
Saw in an even groove and do not put
pressure on, bend or turn the saw blade.
Make sure that the saw blade does not come
into contact with hard materials such as
metal or stone, as the outer teeth may break
off the saw blade.
Make sure you remove dust, shavings or
sawdust from the groove regularly.
As a scraper
With the scraper blade �tted, the appliance
can be used to remove paint, varnish or
carpet glue residues from small areas.
Connect the tool to mains electricity and
switch it on at the on/off switch (3).
Lightly press the scraper blade against the
workpiece.

Cleaning and maintenance
Brush dust and dirt off the tool's vents using
a soft brush or blow clean using compressed
air. Wipe the tool's plastic parts with a well-
wrung cloth and mild detergent.
