Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING!
• To prevent the risk of electrocution, turn off and unplug
the unit from the mains socket before cleaning.
• Allow the unit to cool completely before cleaning it.
• Under no circumstances should you immerse the unit,
its power cable or plug in water or any other liquid, as
they contain electrical components. Do not rinse them
under the tap.
• Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning
agents, wire brushes, sharp objects or scouring pads
to clean the unit.
Disassemble the mixer by removing the mixing bowl, splash guard and accessories. Then
clean as follows:

Cleaning method
Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a small amount of
washing-up liquid. Make sure that no liquid enters the inside of
the unit. Dry completely.
Soak in soapy water (washing-up liquid) to soften any food
residue.
Wash thoroughly.
Rinse off with clean water.
Once clean, dry all parts well.
Note: Do not wash the dough hook, flat beater or splash guard
in the dishwasher. The bowl and whisk are dishwasher-safe.
