Thank you for choosing a Meliconi remote control.
Keep this booklet for future reference
The TLC05 remote control is compatible with THOMSON - TCL TVs. This remote control is
ready for use, after having inserted the batteries, without any further setup procedure.
If there are diffi culties in controlling the TV, follows the instructions in the CONFIGURATION
chapter. The remote control has a permanent memory, so it does not lose its settings even if
there are no batteries in it.
SAFETY WARNINGS
Do not expose the remote control to sources of excessive heat or fi re.
This product is not a toy; keep away from children and pet's reach
INSERTING THE BATTERIES
The remote control requires 2 new 1.5V alkaline AAA/LR03
batteries. Not supplied. Insert them with the correct polarity, as
shown in the picture.
DO NOT use rechargeable batteries.
BATTERY TEST: Keep pressed the ON/OFF [ ] button and
check that the indicator light remains on continuously until the
button is released. If the light fl ashes or remains off, the battery
charge is low; replace them.
Do not leave fl at batteries inserted, as liquid may leak and damage the remote
control

For a complete overview of the functions available on the TLC05 remote control, refer to the
two drawings on the coverlet fl ap.
The functions of the buttons shown in the fi gure are available only if they are also present
on the original device
Some of the functions of the original remote control may not be present on the BASIC keypad
of the MELICONI remote control.
Some functions are available by pressing the [SHIFT] button and pressing the button corre-
sponding to the desired function, shown in the right fi gure.
For example, to enable the DVD/TV function, keep pressed the [SHIFT] button, then press the
RETURN button aiming the remote control toward the device.
