Ensure that the dishes are not grilled for too long. Some dishes are tastier when
they are pink and juicy.
Do not prick the meat with a fork or knife during grilling, otherwise it will lose its
meat juices resulting in tough, dry meat. Use tongs or a spatula.
Flip the meat and fish only once during grilling. By turning it too often or grilling
at a temperature which is too low, it will be tough.
To remove fish from the grill plate, you should use a heat-resistant plastic spatula.
CLEANING
Do not use plastic spatulas which are not heat-resistant. Do not use knives or
other sharp metal objects on the non-stick layer of the grill plate.
Clean the grill plate after each use to prevent remnants of food remaining on it.
Before cleaning the appliance, switch it off and remove the plug from the wall
socket.
After switching off the grill plate, ensure that it has time to cool down. The grill
plate is easier to clean when it is still slightly warm.
Wipe the baking plate clean with a soft cloth or paper towels. For the removal of
caked-on food remnants, use a soft sponge with warm water and a little detergent.
Do not use abrasive or other aggressive cleaning agents. Never immerse the
appliance in water or other liquids.
Discolouring of the baking plate only affects the appearance of the grill plate and
has absolutely no effect on the way it operates.
Ensure that the grill plate is clean and dry before you store it. Store the grill plate
preferably in the original box.
Do not place anything on the upper side of the grill plate to avoid damaging the
non-stick layer.
