Maintenance:
Only maintenance works described in this instruction
manual may be carried out, all other works must be
performed by an official dealer.
Keep all nuts and bolts tight so the power tool is in safe
operating condition.
If any components or safety devices are removed for
maintenance
works,
immediately and correctly.
Use only VITO-approved accessories for this machine or
technically identical parts. Failure to do so may result in
personal injuries or damages to the rotary hammer. If in
doubt, if you lack knowledge or resources, you should
contact an official dealer.
Your rotary hammer should only be serviced by the
manufacturer's internal service personnel, or other
qualified personnel, replacing any necessary parts with
original parts.
The auxiliary handle (13) is factory fitted. However, before
use, you should adjust the position according to the user or
the task to be done.
The position of the auxiliary handle can be adjusted 360° to
ensure a safe and fatigue-free working posture for the user.
1. Loosen the handle counterclockwise until there is
clearance in the fixing clamp (3);
2. Turn the handle to the desired position;
3. Tighten the handle until it locks in place by turning it
clockwise.
If it is necessary to remove the auxiliary handle, use the
following procedure to reassemble it:
1. Insert the fixing clamp (3) of the auxiliary handle into the
hammer from the side of the chuck (2);
2. Screw the auxiliary handle clockwise;
3. Turn the handle to the desired position and tighten the
handle until it is completely secure.

2. Insert the depth stop (6) into the holder (4);
3. Adjust the depth stop to the desired depth and release
the button.
Never assemble or change accessories while the rotary
hammer is running. Always switch off the hammer before
carrying out these operations.
With the SDS-Plus chuck, you can change accessories
more easily and without additional effort.
1. Clean the drilling/impact accessories (1) and grease the
grooves;
2. Insert the drill bit, flat or pointed chisel into the chuck
hole (2). Turn the accessory to make it easier to fit;
3. Ensure that the accessory is securely fastened. Pull it out
and check that it is locked in place;
4. To remove the accessory, pull the chuck sleeve (2) in the
direction of the auxiliary handle and remove the drill bit,
pointed or flat chisel.
Use the dust collector to prevent dust from falling on the
machine and user during work.
