PRIOR TO INSTALLATION
Operation (before first use)
•
Remove all packaging elements
such as plastics, tapes and coat-
ings from the equipment.
•
Verify any possible damage to the
equipment and in case of any
damage please report it immediately,
otherwise continue with the instal-
lation.
•
Install the equipment based on the
indications provided for each model
on
a
firm,
flat
adequate and unobstructed airflow.
•
The unit must be placed under a
range hood and there must be at
least 2" clearance between the
back and sides.
HANDLING & INSTALLATION
•
Install the four feet on the equip-
ment.
•
Remove all packing material, tape,
and any protective plastic.
•
Place the equipment on a dry,
solid, straight and stable surface
that is not sensitive to heat. This
equipment must be installed adja-
cent to non-combustible surfaces
with a minimum clearance of 6"
from all sides and to other equip-
ment.
•
Before connecting the regulator,
check the inlet line pressure. The
regulator can only withstand a
maximum pressure of 1/2 PSI. If
the line pressure exceeds this
limit, a reducing regulator will be
required. The arrow at the bottom

Clean and dry the equipment well
before use.
•
The equipment and its furnace
solenoid valve must be discon-
nected from the gas supply piping
system during any pressure test-
ing of that system at test pres-
sures greater than 1/2 psi (3.5
kPa).
•
The equipment must be isolated
from the gas supply piping system
by closing its individual manual
shutoff valve during any pressure
testing of the gas supply piping
system at test pressures equal to
or less than 1/2 psi (3.5 kPa). .
