Intended use

The thermal binder is suitable solely for the
binding of thermal binding folders. Any other
use or modification is deemed to be inap-
propriate and harbours considerable risk of
accident.

Important safety instructions

The following safety instructions must be
heeded in all cases when electrical appli-
ances are used. The instructions will help you
to avoid serious injury and damage and to
achieve better work results.
Please read carefully the following informa-
tion with regard to safety and appropriate
use. Before reading it, fold out the page with
the illustrations and then familiarise yourself
with all the functions of the appliance. Please
keep these instructions safe and where nec-
essary pass them on to third parties.
To avoid risk of injury:
• Never touch the hot plate as this can reach
a very high temperature.
• Do not open the appliance and never try to
repair it yourself. Due to the sensitive tech-
nology of the appliance, repairs may only
be carried out by authorised service

How to act safely:
• Pull out the plug when you no longer
require the appliance! If the appliance is
opened by unauthorised persons, the
guarantee will lapse!
Cleaning:
• Pull out the mains plug before each
cleaning.
• Let the appliance cool down before
cleaning.
• Clean the hot plate and the plastic parts
with a lightly moistened cloth and where
necessary with a mild cleaning agent

dispose of via your local recycling centres.
