INSTALLATION AND USE OF THE SYSTEM
Top Loading Washers:
When using the unit with a top loading washer, make
sure that no black or dark garments are in direct line
with the discharge water. It is recommended that a
linen garment be placed directly under the pour
stream to absorb the initially high concentration of
oxidizers.
No use or care during Vacation:
Turn on your washing machine and unit only when
you are at home. If you are on vacation or are not
going to use your washer for an extended period of
time, you should unplug the power supplies from
both the washer and the unit and disconnect the
water supply. This helps prevent accidental flooding
due to increased water pressure while you are away.
Stains:
We suggest that you pre-treat stains as you would
without a Clothes Purifier. However, for clothes with
a normal soil index, you should only need a very
small amount of detergent or none at all.
How to know the equipment is working:
You can easily see if the unit is working properly by
looking at the water as it flows through the clear tube
behind the unit's window. Bubbles should be visible
in the water as it flows and the window should emit
a blue glow. If you don't see the bubbles, make sure
you have the proper Venturi injector setting (using
the Flow Rate) selected for your washer. High-effi-
ciency or front-loaded gaskets should use the
front-load configuration, but standard high-efficien-
cy top-load gaskets should use the top-load
configuration. If the Top Load configuration is used
in a high-efficiency washer, there will likely be no
bubbles and you will not experience the benefits of
using the unit.
6. PRE-INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
Electrical Requirements:
The unit requires 120 Volts 60 Hz of power in a 15
amp fuse or circuit breaker.
Water Requirements:
• A water pressure of 40 to 75 PSI is required for the
unit to operate properly.
• Water quality may affect unit performance. If you
have problems with water quality, such as high iron
content, consult a water filtration expert.
• Some high-efficiency washing machines require
water from both hot and cold water supplies, even if
a cold water cycle is selected. In this case, the
Gasket and Household sockets can be connected
to provide hot and cold water inlets to the washer, or
a Y-valve can be used to connect hot and cold water
hoses from an outlet hose from the unit to the
washer.
7. TIPS BEFORE INSTALLATION:
1. Remove the unit from its packaging and check for
shipping damage.
2. Turn off the hot and cold water supply to your
washer.
3. Remove the cold water hose from the cold water
faucet.
4. Adjust the flow rate for the type of load of your
washer, top or front, by turning the valve on the back
of your equipment.
5. If your washer machine allows, use more water in
the pre-washing. This benefits the active oxygen
power because it's more time in contact with the
clothes.
8. INSTALLATION
1. The unit should be attached to the wall, just above
and behind the washer. It is recommended that one
of the mounting holes in the unit be mounted on a
wall bolt, if possible. A set of screws is included. If it
is not possible to mount the unit on a wall bolt, you
must use "molly" type expandable screw anchors,
available from your local hardware store. For any
other type of mounting area (cement block, etc.)
consult your local hardware store for assistance.

2. Place the mounting bracket on the wall with the
tabs up and away from the wall, making sure it is
