NOTE
These instructions refer exclusively to the use of the selector lever in con-
junction with the VDO compact tempostat ® ;
(Electronics No. X39-397-106-200; Type 96.106; Version B).
They supplement the installation and selector instructions accompanying
the product by specific information relating to the selector lever.
1. Installation
A) Settings prior to Installation
When using this selector lever, the following settings have to be made on
the electronics of the VDO compact tempostat
B) Installing the Selector Lever

Mount the selector lever to the left (X39-397-106-
213) or to the right (X39-397-106-214) of the steer-
ing wheel and take care that the lettering is visible.
