6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
6.1 Safety instructions
All maintenance, cleaning and repair of the appliance must be done with a disconnected appliance (isolated
from all electrical sources).
The use of caustic detergents and baking soda for cleaning is prohibited. Water must not get inside the
device.
Never immerse the device in water or other liquid.
Use Casselin brand products intended for this purpose.
WARNING
The device cannot be cleaned by direct water jet (no pressurized water jet).
6.2 Daily maintenance
Unplug the device
Using a suitable brush remove the remains of flour and dough.
Remove the two protections, the balance, the two slides, detach the springs, remove the scrapers and put
the adjustment levers in the maximum open position.
Clean the device and all accessories using hot water, specific disinfectant for food-grade machines and a
clean cloth.
After cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth to polish and dry the device. All parts must be dried.
Reassemble the scrapers, springs, slides and guards in order and make sure that everything is correctly
fixed.
Never use hard or abrasive material which could scratch the device and damage it.
Store the device in a dry place.
6.3 Safety instructions for maintaining the device
Daily check for damage to the power cord. Never use the appliance when the cord is damaged. If the cord is
faulty, it must be replaced by a qualified technician.
In the event of a fault, contact your dealer.
Any maintenance or repair intervention must only be carried out by a professional.
NOTE
In the event of a fault, unplug the appliance, let it cool down and contact your dealer. If the device does not
start, check your power cord. The device should not be plugged into a multiple socket, but directly to a wall
outlet. For any other anomaly, contact your dealer.
NOTE
Waste from used devices: any used device must, when disposing of it, comply with the regulations in force
in its country *. It is essential to make the device unusable before disposal by removing the power supply
cable.
