3.0 Adaptive Mode
The AC4455 comes in default setting with all dip switches set to OFF. In this mode the
media converter is set to "Adaptive Mode". In this mode only 10Gbps SFP+
transceivers can be used. The ethernet port on the media converter is in auto
negotiate mode and will work in 100/1000Mbps and 10Gbps network environments.

When using 2x AC4455 in "Adaptive Mode" both media converters must have a
10Gbps uncoded SFP+ transceiver.
