USE
Make sure that the plug is not plugged in and that the ON/OFF switch is positioned on O.
Place the appliance on a level and non-slip working surface.
Fill the water bowl up to the MAX mark with water.
Place the steam tank on the water bowl. Pay attention to the four locking pins: they must engage in the
slots in the steam tank. Press the steam tank firmly into the locking pins.
Put the hot dogs into the steam tank. Do not overfill the steam tank as the appliance may not function
properly and the hotdogs will not become hot.
Put the lid on the steam tank.
lnsert the plug in a socket with earthing protection and press the ON/OFF switch to position 1.
The cooking starts alter approximately 2 minutes.
The hot dogs are ready alter 10 à 12 minutes .
Stick the hotdog sandwiches on the spikes, cutting the extremity of the sandwiches first.
Warning! The spikes are hot! Danger of burning!
Remove the lid carefully from the steam tank. Take out the hotdogs from the steam tank with a fork
or a hotdog pincer.
Alter approximately 2 minutes, pull the sandwiches off the spikes. lnsert the hot dogs in the hole in the
sandwiches.
Put other sandwiches on the spikes and proceed as described above .
Alter use, press the ON/OFF switch back to O and pull out the plug. Let the appliance cool down for about 20
minutes and then clean as described in section «Cleaning».
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The water bowl is covered with a non-stick coating. This coating avoids the calcifying of the water bowl. Should
limestone deposits remain on the bottom of the bowl alter cooking, wipe it off with a moist cloth or use a decal-
cifying substance containing citric acid . When using this substance, always follow the manufac turer' s instruc-
tions.
Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning. Clean the plastic parts of the appliance with
a soit cloth. Never immerse the base into water or any other liquid. Clean the bowl with soapy water and a soit
cloth or sponge . Do not put any part of the appliance in the dishwasher.
Do not clean the inside or outside with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool as this will damage the finish.
