0.4 Important notice: Please read through these instructions for use carefully and familiarise yourself
with the appliance before connecting it to the compressed gas canister. Attention: Only ever use the
Turbojet together with the compressed gas canister Art. No. 0984 900 12! Otherwise the burner
nozzle can become blocked.
Use the instructions for use for information purposes and keep it in a safe place for future reference.
1. Introduction
1.1 This appliance is solely for use with the Würth butane/
propane/acetone gas canister
Art. No. 0984 900 12.
1.2 Attaching other types of gas canisters can be danger-
ous.
2. Safety Information
2.1 Before attaching the gas canister, ensure that the
appliance'sseals(1)areproperlyfittedandarein
good condition (see Fig. 1).
2.2 Never use an appliance which has damaged or worn
seals, leaks, damage, defects or malfunctions.
2.3 Always replace or attach the gas canister in a safe
place outdoors at a good distance from ignition
sourcessuchasnakedflames,pilotflames,igniting
flashes,electricalfiresandanypersonsstanding
around.
2.4 Any checks for gas leaks from the appliance should
always be carried out outdoors. Never use a naked
flametocheckforleaks.Onlyeverusesoapsuds.
2.5 Particular caution is required if there is a leak. In this
case the gas must be drained using the ventilation
method.Notethatliquefiedpetroleumgasisheavier
than air. It can therefore easily accumulate in hollows
or below ground level.
2.6 Never leave the switched-on appliance unattended.
2.7 The appliance consumes oxygen and must only ever
be used in well-ventilated places – with at least
5 cbm/h.
2.8 Use the appliance at a safe distance from walls and
other combustible materials.

3.1 Never touch the hot parts of the appliance, either
during or after use.
3.2 Storage: Always unscrew the canister if the appliance
is not in use. Store in a safe, dry place a good distance
from heat sources and well out of reach of children.
Never store gas containers in basement rooms or other
underground locations.
3.3 Only ever use the appliance properly and for its
explicitly stated purposes.
3.4 Always handle the appliance with caution. Never drop
it.
4.1 Ensurethatthecontrolknob(2)isswitchedoff(fully
turned to the right).
4.2 Holdthecanister(3)uprightwhenattachingthe
appliance to the valve.
4.3 Place the appliance on top of the gas canister valve in
accordance with the instructions (see Fig. 2).
4.4 Screw the appliance onto the gas canister. Ensure that
you not screw the canister on straight and not askew.
Note: Only screw the gas canister on hand-
tight. Over-tightening can damage the
valve.
4.5 Assembling the burner (see Fig. 3).
The burner has a quick-connecting bayonet fastening
(4). Push the burner in the holder and rotate it through
90° in the opposite direction. Caution: The burner will
be hot after use.
