8. Validation of the SD removable memory

Once the confi guration has been sent to the UMX-01/0, the memories of the UMX-MP3 cards that contain
emergency messages must be validated.
To do so, proceed as follows:
1. Insert the SD memory in the UMX-MP3.
2. On the keyboard of the UMX-01/0, press MENU/OK, select Confi gurations and press MENU/OK once
again.
3. Select MP3 Player, press MENU/OK followed by the card position where the UMX-MP3 is located. Press
MENU/OK.
4. Select Validate Memory and press MENU/OK.
5. Repeat these steps for each of the UMX-MP3 cards.
Once the memory has been validated, the system supervises the integrity of each of the emergency
messages so that it generates an alarm in the event that an error is detected.
Whenever any parameter of the emergency messages is modifi ed (name of the messages, number of
Eng
messages, duration...), it is necessary to validate the removable SD memory.
