INTRODUCTION OF SOLAR KIT
Congratulations on purchasing a high-quality renewable energy product that will make
building your own off-grid solar system easy. Although the installation can be completed
quickly and professionally using the materials in the kit, it is important that you read these
operating instructions and understand all mechanical and electrical requirements before
beginning installation.
The installer must be familiar with and comply with all of the safety precautions outlined in
these operating instructions, as well as any local regulations that must be observed.
Safety precautions
CAUTION: Working with electrical systems and their installation is dangerous. Possible haz-
ards are, among others, although not exclusively, electric shock or an electrical fire. Always
use a certified specialist for the installation of electrical systems.
Warning!
Installing solar panels entails risks (electric shock, fire) and should only be carried out by a
certified specialist. Please also note the information in the handbook. The product gener-
ates electricity when exposed to light. To avoid electric shock, during installation cover the
panel with dark material and avoid contact with the output terminals. Before working on the
panel, check for voltage with a voltmeter.
Cabling and connections
Installation and cabling must meet on-site and national electrical regulations and be carried
out by a certified specialist. Please follow these steps:
• Please read all instructions and cautionary information in this handbook, before beginning
installation.
• Make sure that all cable connections are secure; loose connections can cause sparks.
• Wear appropriate clothing and protective equipment when carrying out electrical instal-
lation, including safety goggles.
Surroundings
• Do not carry out the installation close to flammable material.
• Make sure that you are working in a well-ventilated area.
• Use appropriately insulated tools and remove metal objects such as rings, bracelets or
watches.
