Note: The first time the appliance is used the insulating materials
and the heated elements could give forth a smell. This inconvenience
will vanish after a few minutes.
6.3 Coffee
On every Grimac appliance, the coffee dispensing procedure is easy and quick; a delicious
coffee can be tasted after few steps.
Before dispensing coffee, check all components are properly clean. Refer to paragraph 9
for the correct cleaning and maintenance of the appliance.
6.3.1 Making coffee

partment.

Wait the reaching of water temperature sig-
nalled by the switching-on of temperature
light.
Open the capsule-insertion compartment by
raising the lever.
Place a capsule in the capsule insertion shape.
Lower the lever to closed position.
Wait the reaching of water temperature sig-
nalled by the switching-on of temperature
light.
Place a cup on the grid and press the switch to
start dispensing coffee. When the desired
amount has been obtained the machine will
stop automatically.

Note: At the end of coffee dispensing, always leave the capsule inser-
tion compartment closed in position "CLOSED".
The capsule drawer can hold a maximum of 15 capsules, after which
it absolutely most be emptied, pulling it outwards.
It is advisable to empty the capsules from the drawer after making
6-8 coffees.
It is forbidden: to use capsules not in compliance with the appliance
standard.
6.4 Emergency conditionsa
In every emergency conditions, in order to stop the appliance, press
the main switch on the -OFF- position.
In the event of freeze, contact the service centre of a skilled technician.
In the event of fire, evacuate the area immediately to permit the ac-
tion of trained personnel equipped with suitable protection means.
Always use approved extinguishers and never use water or substanc-
es of uncertain nature.
When dispensing is finished, if you want to dis-
pense a new coffee, raise the handle (5 Fig. 5) to
open position, insert a new capsule, the used
capsule is automatically unloaded into the
drawer.
