mount head, a tripod, a tripod accessory tray, two counterweights,
a counterweight bar, two slow-motion cables, a latitude adjustment
screw, an erect imaging diagonal, two 1.25" Kellner eyepieces

To set up the tripod, spread the legs outward until they are fully
extended and push the center leg brace.
5
Attach the equatorial mount by aligning the hole in the base with the
hole in the center of the mount as shown above.
8
Attach the counterweight bar by threading it into the declination
axis of the mount as shown. Remove the orange knurled safety cap
from the opposite end of the counterweight bar.
3
Extend the legs of the tripod by turning the locking knobs
counterclockwise. Pull each lower leg section all the way out and
tighten the locking knob to secure the legs in place.
6
From underneath the mount, thread the mounting bolt into the
threaded hole in the center of the mount and through to the base
of the mount head.
9
Slide the two counterweights halfway up the bar as shown. Tighten
the thumbscrews on each to hold it in place. Replace the orange
knurled safety cap by threading it back on to the end of the
counterweight bar.
