• External surface of the appliance: Wipe the outside of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth if needed. If water
starts condensing on the surface of the appliance during operation, reduce the power of the humidifier and wipe
the appliance.
Decalcifying
• Depending on the frequency of use and water hardness, it may be necessary to decalcify each or every second
week in order to optimize the performance of the appliance.
• If you live in a hard water area, we recommend using distilled water to help reduce the build-up of minerals.
• Do not clean the unit or the water tank with aggressive detergents or chemicals.
Ultrasonic disk
• Disconnect the appliance from the mains.
• Remove the water tank and drain all the water from the base and the tank.
• Use a cleaning brush to gently clean the accumulated dirt.
Note: Do not damage the ultrasonic disk in any way.
If the deposits cannot be removed with a brush:
1. Make a mixture of 1 teaspoon of vinegar and 1 teaspoon of water and pour it in the base of the appliance.
2. Leave it for 5 minutes.
3. While vinegar acts on the humidifier base, clean the outside surface of the unit with a soft cloth or brush to remove
deposits.
4. Check the nozzle and the tube for accumulated minerals. Clean it if needed.

5. Rinse the base thoroughly with water to remove deposits and vinegar.
6. If the minerals contained in water form a white powder, you can use a decalcification cartridge or cleaning tablets
for humidifiers to clean the unit.
Storage
• Follow the instructions in the Cleaning and Decalcification chapters and clean the appliance, before storing at the
end of the season
• Dry the appliance properly before storing. DO NOT store the appliance if there is remaining water in the tank or

• Put the unit in the original packaging and store it in a cool, dry place.
