5. Brake
II Unfolding the scooter
CAUTION! Risk of jamming fingers! Be very careful when unfolding.
Before unfolding the scooter, please make sure the folding buckle (4) is unlocked as
shown (Fig.A). To unlock the scooter, hold the frame (2) and unfold the metal tube upwards
(Fig.B.I). When you hear a "click", the scooter is unfolded. Push a lock buckle (4) down to secure
the scooter before use (Fig.B.II).
III Adjusting the seat
Depending on whether the product is to be used as a balance bike or a scooter, the seat can
be fold into a horizontal or vertical position respectively. To use a product as a balance bike,
release the saddle (3) from upright position by pushing it (Fig. C). To use product as a scooter,
push the saddle back upright into the vertical position (Fig. D).
IV Adjusting the handlebar height
To adjust the handlebar height, open the lock clamp (1) (Fig. E). Press the steel height level
button on the tube under the clamp (Fig. F.I) and pull up or down to adjust the handlebar to a
proper height level. The height adjustment button should go into one of the three holes in the
frame. After the button is fixed in the hole, return the clamp into its original position by
locking it (Fig. D).
V Scooter use technique
To start riding, place one foot on the deck (6), grasp the steering with your hands and choose
a direction to ride in. Push off from the ground with the other foot to start moving.
VI Scooter braking
To use the brake, press brakes (5) with your left or right foot.
VII Folding the scooter
CAUTION! Risk of jamming fingers! Be very careful when folding.
Before folding the scooter, unlock the folding buckle (4) (Fig.G.I). To fold the scooter, hold the
frame (1) and pull it upwards as shown on Figure G.II, and lower the handle bar in deck's (6)
direction (Fig.G.III). After releasing your hand, the handle will spring back down automatically.
"Click" will indicate that the handle is stuck and the product is folded. Press the fold buckle
downwards to lock the scooter in folded position.
VII Cleaning and maintenance
The product should only be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Regular maintenance increases the safety of use of the scooter.
If the wheels are showing clear signs of wear and tear, consider replacing them.
Do not make any modifications other than as instructed in the manufacturer's instruction
manual.
To renovate the bearings, pull them out, clean them and apply a suitable amount of grease.
If the self-locking mechanisms are not working properly, consider replacing them or stop
using the product.
