INSTRUCTION:
1. This smoothie blender is only intended for blending
smoothie ingredients and for private use only.
2. This appliance is not suitable for mixing potatoes, cream, egg whites, dough, etc.
The appliance must not be used for hot liquids, as the pressure at the container will
be too great.
3. FOODIE smoothie blender, like other electrical appliances, should be used with
caution to avoid personal injury, fire damage or damage to the appliance.
Please read the instructions carefully before use.
4. The smoothie blender is ready for use. Please dispose of the packaging properly.
5. Check that the appliance is undamaged and functioning. [Fig. 1]
6. Place the motor unit (A) on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface away
from sources of heat or water splashes, and plug into a wall socket.
7. Fill the bottle (B) with ingredients. The maximum level is 500 ml (see marking on
bottle) and must not be exceeded. For best results, we recommend filling the bottle
with liquid ingredients first and then fresh/frozen ingredients. Cut the ingredients
into pieces no larger than 2 x 2 cm. Do not overfill the bottle.
8. Screw the blade unit (C) securely on to the open end of the bottle [Fig. 2]. Turn the
bottle upside down so that the blade unit is at the bottom, then align the arrow on
the exterior of the blade unit with the arrow on the edge of the motor unit [Fig. 3].
9. The appliance will not operate if the blender bottle assembly (B + C) is not correctly
assembled and correctly positioned on the motor unit (A). The blade unit and motor
unit are correctly positioned when the marks, on each part, is aligned.
10. Mixing starts when the motor unit (A), blender bottle assembly (B+C) are correctly
aligned and the button is pushed. Hold the button until the mixing is complete.
Mixing stops once the button (E) is released. The maximum continuous operating
time is 30 seconds, followed by a break of 5 minutes.
11. If the motor stops during use, unplug the appliance and remove the blender bottle
assembly (B+C) from the motor unit (A). Let the appliance rest for at least 10
minutes before starting it again.
12. Once you have finished mixing, turn the blender bottle assembly (B+C) upright so
that the blade unit (C) is at the top and then unscrew it from the bottle (B) [Fig. 4].
The bottle is ready to drink from or to take with you.
