SAFETY
1. Read the instruction manual carefully before use, and save it for future use.
2. Plug the appliance to a household outlet of 220–240 V only,
and use the appliance only for the intended use.
3. Always unplug the appliance from the mains supply when not in use.
4. The appliance must not be immersed into water or other liquids.
5. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, if a person responsible for their safety
has given them supervision or instruction concerning the use of the
appliance in a safe way and they understand the hazards involved.
6. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Children are not always able to understand potential risks. Teach children a
responsible handling of electrical appliances. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
7. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children,
unless they are over the age of 8 and supervised.
8. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under the age of 8.
9. Check that the cord is not hanging over the edge of the table.
10. Do not place the appliance on or near hotplates, open fire or the like.
11. CAUTION: The blades are very sharp, so be careful when cleaning!
12. The knife blades must not be re-sanded.
13. CAUTION: In order to avoid any hazard, this appliance must not be supplied
through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit
that which is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
14. For extra protection, it is advisable to install a fault current switch
(HFI / PFI / HPFI relay circuit) of max. 30 mA. Contact a qualified
electrician for advice.
15. If the appliance is used for any purpose other than the actual, or if is not operated
according to the operating instructions, the user is fully responsible for any
consequences. Any damage to the product or anything else consequently is
therefore not covered by the warranty.

16. Do not move the device while it is on.
17. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
18. Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing
accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
CLEANING / MAINTENANCE:
Unplug the appliance and remove the blender bottle assembly (B+C).
Be very careful when cleaning. The blades are sharp.
Rinse the bottle (B) and blade unit (C) immediately after use under running
water and also the bottle lid (D) in warm water and a little washing-up liquid.
The bottle (B), blade unit (C) and lid (D) can be washed in the dishwasher.
To clean the motor unit (A), use a damp cloth and dry it carefully.
Never immerse the motor unit (A) in water or any other liquid.
COMPLAINTS
You have the right to complain in accordance with legislation. A machine-stamped
till receipt with the purchase date must be provided for complaints. For complaints,
the appliance must be returned to the place where it was purchased.
DISPOSAL OF ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
Legislation requires that the electric and electronic apparatus and parts
of it are recycled. Electric and electronic apparatus, marked with the disposal
symbol, must be disposed of at a communal recycling plant.
