▶The exterior of the appliance will become very hot during use. You
always have to be careful when handling it. Never touch/lift the
appliance, once the water has boiled, by any part other than the
handle.
▶Always make sure the appliance is turned off before removing it from
the power base. And that it is unplugged before cleaning it or when
it is not in use.
▶Be careful with the steam coming out of the spout or lid.

STARTED
1. 1. Always remove the kettle from the electric base before
filling it.
2. Lift the cover.
3. Fill the kettle with cold water between the MIN and MAX
marks on the water level indicator.
4. Replace the lid and place the kettle back on the electric
base. Make sure the lid is tightly closed before you bring it
to a boil.
5. Plug the power base into the wall outlet and turn it on at
the mains.
6. To start boiling, press the ON/OFF switch down.
7. The power indicator will light up and the kettle will begin
to boil.
NEVER REMOVE LID DURING BOILING.
8. When the water has boiled, the kettle will automatically
turn off and the power indicator will turn off.
