9. You can stop the boiling process at any time by pressing
the switch to the OFF position.
10. After the kettle automatically shuts off, there may be a
short delay before it can resume boiling. This is usually no
more than 20 seconds.
11. The safety switch will work if you accidentally turn on the
kettle when it is empty or if you let it dry out. Wait 15 minutes
for the switch to reset before refilling with cold water and
bringing to a boil.
CLEANING
1. 1. Always unplug the appliance from the mains and allow it
to cool down completely before storing or cleaning.
2. Never immerse any part of the power cord, plug, power
base or kettle in water or any other liquid.
3. Clean the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Dry
well. Never use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning agents
as they can damage the finish of your kettle.
4. Over a period of time, scale can build up inside your kettle.
To descale, fill the kettle halfway with water and add the juice
of one lemon. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it sit for 15
minutes before throwing it away. You can repeat it several
times with cold water as well.
Safety, as insertion into a 13 amp socket could cause an electrical
hazard.
DESCALCIFICACIÓN
Descalcifique periódicamente el hervidor para garantizar
un rendimiento óptimo. La frecuencia de esta operación
dependerá de la dureza del agua y de la frecuencia de uso
del hervidor.
1. Si nota un aumento del ruido durante la ebullición, o si el
aparato se apaga antes de que hierva el agua, es necesario
realizar una descalcificación.
▶Por lo general, deberá realizar la descalcificación con la siguiente
periodicidad:
▶Con agua suave, un mínimo de una vez cada 6 meses.
▶Con agua dura, un mínimo de una vez cada 3 meses.
2. Le recomendamos encarecidamente utilizar únicamente
productos descalcificadores aptos para
plástico.

descalcificador y realice el proceso de descalcificación paso
a paso.
4. Una vez finalizada la descalcificación, enjuague el interior
del hervidor con agua limpia.
