· Put back the battery compartment onto the lower part by plugging the
spindle into the intended opening located at the bottom of the battery
compartment, then turn it to the locking position.
· Close the mill as described above.
· We recommend storing the mill upright.
Adjusting the grinding degree
· Turn the mill upside down and remove the closing cap.
· The adjusting screw is located at the bottom of the grinding mechanism. Turn
the adjusting screw clockwise for a finer grind or a counter clockwise for a
coarser grind.
· We recommend 4 turns at the most.
· Note: If the amount of ground pepper/salt gradually diminishes, this can
have two reasons:
· The batteries are running down. In this case, replace the batteries.
· There is insufficient pepper/salt in the mill. In this case, lightly shake
the device so that new pepper/salt will fall into the grinder, or refill
the device if needed.
Cleaning the mill
· Never immerse the mills in water or other liquids and do not clean them in
the dishwasher.
· Wipe the housing with a soft cloth only, slightly moistened if needed.
· Do not use any sharp objects or spirit, solvent, scrubbing brushes or abrasive
cleaning agents for cleaning.
· When the grinder is blocked, pour some coarse salt or uncooked rice into
your mill and grind it briefly.
Disposal / Recycling
According to the Electric and Electronic Equipment Act this product
may not be disposed of in normal household garbage at the end of its
useful life. For this reason, take it to a free communal collection point
(e.g. recycling depot) for the recycling of electric and electronic devices. To
save the environment, do not throw used batteries into household waste, but
hand in the appropriate disposal depots or collection centers.
Guarantee
We cover this device with a guarantee of 2 years from the purchase date.
Damages due to normal wear, unauthorized use, improper treatment, incorrect
use, lack of care and cleaning, willful destruction, transport or accident, and
repair by unauthorized persons are excluded from this guarantee. Contact
your dealer in case of a guarantee claim. The guarantee can only be honored
if the device is accompanied by the sales slip/receipt.
